Official EFIT Training in Las Vegas: Grief, Loss, Forgiveness & Repair

How do we help clients heal when what they have lost cannot simply be restored? How do we work with grief that changes a person’s sense of self, safety, connection, and future? And when clients have been deeply hurt in important relationships, what makes genuine forgiveness and repair possible?

Join Southern Nevada EFT in Las Vegas for a specialized two-day Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) training with internationally renowned EFT Trainer Dr. Leanne Campbell.

Grounded in attachment science and the Emotionally Focused Therapy model developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, this experiential workshop will explore two deeply human clinical processes: grief and loss, and forgiveness and repair.

Day 1: Working with Grief and Loss in EFIT

Grief is fundamentally an attachment experience. Whether clients are facing bereavement, the loss of an important relationship, divorce or relationship dissolution, or another life-altering separation, loss can profoundly impact their sense of safety, identity, connection, and belonging.

Using the EFIT model, Dr. Campbell will demonstrate how therapists can help clients access and organize painful emotional experience, work with attachment fears and longings, and move toward greater integration, resilience, and emotional balance. Special attention will be given to bereavement and relationship dissolution, helping clinicians understand grief through an attachment lens and work more effectively with clients navigating profound loss.

Day 2: Forgiveness and Repair Using Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy

What does forgiveness actually mean when someone has been deeply wounded?

Day two turns toward the complex process of forgiveness and emotional repair. Rather than treating forgiveness as an intellectual decision or something clients should simply choose, get stuck believing they can't work towards forgiveness alone, EFIT provides an attachment-based roadmap for understanding injury, protection, vulnerability, and healing.

Participants will explore how to help clients process relational wounds, access the emotions beneath protective strategies, reorganize painful experiences, and move toward meaningful repair and resolution.

Across both days, participants will deepen their ability to use Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy interventions to help clients transform painful emotional experiences rather than simply manage symptoms around them.

Why Train in EFIT?

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy translates the power of attachment science into a clear, experiential model for individual psychotherapy. EFIT gives therapists a roadmap for helping clients understand the protective strategies that developed in response to threat, isolation, rejection, and loss while creating new experiences of emotional engagement, safety, and connection.

This workshop is designed for mental health professionals who want to deepen their clinical work with grief, bereavement, loss, relationship dissolution, attachment injuries, forgiveness, emotional healing, and relational trauma through the lens of attachment science, systems theory, neurobiology, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.

Whether you already practice EFT or are expanding your work into EFIT, this two-day training offers an opportunity to learn from one of the model’s leading trainers while strengthening your ability to stay with clients in some of the most tender and consequential moments of their lives.

Continuing Education & EFIT Certification

This is an ICEEFT officially approved workshop. Participants may earn up to 14 Continuing Education credits for attending the full two-day training (through Southern NV EFT).
