2023-2024  The Second Step in Official EFT Training

Core Skills is the second step in basic EFT training after completing the EFT Externship. This exciting in-depth training dives slower and more deeply into the model, skills, and interventions of EFT. It consists of (two) 3 Day intensive workshops, comprising of 4 modules. Core Skills provides an in depth study of each of the EFT steps and the three stages of EFT, as well as its interventions and strategies. 48 CEU's included. **Special Discounted Rate if You're Repeating Core Skills/Previous Core Skills Attendee!**

Weekend 1 Modules 1 & 2:

 Oct 19th-21st Thursday-Saturday, 2023

Weekend 2 Modules 3 & 4:  February 22nd-24th, 2024 (Thursday-Saturday)

You must complete all 4 modules, either in the two 3 Day formats here in Las Vegas, or as a two day series at another EFT Community. You will not receive credit for the training unless you complete all 4 modules as required by ICEEFT. When you sign up for the course you are committing your intention to complete the entire course and all 4 modules.

**Participants are required to present their own work through audio/videotape presentation. Registrants will be required to declare their professional designation.

There will be opportunity for participants to get feedback on videos of their own work with clients. Bringing your own video to view is a necessary requirement as part of this training. Both the Externship and Core Skills are required to meet the training requirements of EFT certification.* Participants may be assigned alphabetically by name to show their tapes at one of the weekends if not enough volunteer to show their tapes in the first weekend of modules 1 & 2.

Participants should be prepared to share about 7-15 minutes of tape working with a couple or dyad. Therapists are not expected to show work that demonstrates proficiency in the model yet as this is a beginning level training.

Attendance meets the ICEEFT course requirement (CEUs provided by  Southern Nevada EFT)* when applying for Certified EFT Therapist designation.

The only outstanding requirement for Certification after attending Core Skills Training is eight hours of individual supervision plus two certification tapes of the clinician's work as well as the certification packet. The application process is described on www.eft.ca. Final decision regarding readiness for certification is determined by the certification review board at ICEEFT in Ottowa.
