Whether you work with couples, individuals or families, EFT is a holistic and integrative attachment science model with a clearly defined road map for success within and between your therapy sessions from the beginning to end of therapy with each client. This is the first basic training required as part of becoming an ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist.

■ Day 1: What makes EFT work: theoretical underpinnings, Research and the Map Attachment Science as a Guide for Psychotherapy ― with Couples (EFCT), Individuals (EFIT) & Families (EFFT). Basics of the EFT Model ― Experiential & Systemic

■ Day 2: EFT Interventions and Stage 1; Stabilization / De-escalation of Negative Cycles

■ Day 3: Demonstration Session and Stage 2 – the two key Change Events; Case Presentation / Live Session or Tape Review / Discussion/Micro Interventions / RISSSC / Catch-the-Bullet / Building Attachment / Slice It Thinner

■ Day 4:  EFIT ― Goals ― Tango ― Watch DVD Sessions Forgiveness and Attachment Injuries in EFCT; Escalated Couples / Traumatized Individual Clients Exercises or DVD Clip & Discussion
