Intimate relationships are where the pain of trauma comes alive.
It's the most common place where partners will frequently and unexpectedly trigger trauma ... causing disconnect, arguments, shutting down, and isolation.

In this workshop, you will learn how we as therapists can help traumatized couples and individuals experience the freedom, security, and excitement of love when they've likely never felt that way before. Rooted in attachment science, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFT/EFIT) can reliably transform pivotal traumatic moments so your traumatized clients can fully engage in their lives again.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), pioneered by Dr. Sue Johnson, is incredibly effective and powerful at working with couples and individuals with a trauma history and PTSD... because EFT gets right to the heart of the problem, providing a safe connection, and creating a path forward to the loving relationships and connections our clients so badly desire.

Trauma PTSD can cause a range of symptoms, including flashbacks, nightmares, anxiety, and depression. EFT is based on the idea that emotions play a key role in our lives and our relationships. It focuses on helping people to understand and express their emotions in a healthy way.

EFT has been found to be an effective treatment for Trauma and PTSD in some studies. It may help to reduce symptoms such as flashbacks and nightmares, and it may also help to improve mood and anxiety.

EFT can help people with Trauma and PTSD in a number of ways, including:
-
Helping to understand emotions and to cope with them in a healthy way.
-
Identifying and changing the negative thought patterns that can contribute to PTSD. These thoughts can include things like, “I’m not good enough,” or “I’m not worth anything.”
-
Managing and reducing stress. This can be important for people with PTSD, as stress can trigger symptoms of the disorder.
-
Building healthy and supportive relationships. Social support is often one of the key factors in recovery from trauma.
-
Developing a sense of control over their lives for those who may feel like they have lost control after experiencing a traumatic event.

Overall, EFT can be a helpful treatment for people with PTSD. If you or someone you know has PTSD, consider seeking out a therapist who specializes in EFT.

In This Workshop, You'll Learn how to:
-How to use the EFT approach to rebuild connections between partners to heal all types of emotional turmoil AND past traumas.
-Use love to heal their trauma.
-Heal trauma for individuals with PTSD
-Get a proven, easy-to-understand roadmap to create change and the knowledge and skills to create a powerful, healing connection through which your clients can reliably recover from trauma.
